Dra. Leidy Diana Agámez Martínez A

I am an Internist and Cardiologist, specializing in echocardiography cardiac imaging. I graduated with a General Medicine degree and specialized in Internal Medicine from Universidad Libre Seccional Barranquilla. I completed my specialization studies in Cardiology and Echocardiography at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín (Clínica CardioVID). I am a full member of the Colombian Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. In November 2013, I received a scholarship for being among the top clinical cardiology residents nationwide from the SCC, where I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Valentin Fuster, considered a leading cardiology expert. In 2014, I also participated in performing and analyzing echocardiogram studies with Dr. Farouk Chaudry and Dr. Martin Goldman at Mount Sinai Hospital - New York. During my rural service in 2006, I received an honorable mention for outstanding professional performance as a Mandatory Social Service Physician in the Colombian Military Forces, National Navy (ARC Legízamo Hospital). I consider myself a highly responsible and dedicated professional. I offer comprehensive care with scientific and human quality to my patients with cardiac conditions, aiming to enhance their health and quality of life.
