1. Nature of the service
El mejor DOC is an informational directory. We do not provide medical services, schedule appointments on behalf of doctors, or mediate the clinical relationship between patient and professional. All communication, care and clinical responsibility lies with the contacted doctor.
2. Directory information
We build profiles from public professional information (health directories, insurer networks and Google) and from what the doctors themselves provide. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep it updated, we do not guarantee accuracy. To report errors or ask us to remove a profile, message our WhatsApp +57 305 454 9100 or reply to the email we sent you: we correct or remove it and confirm it to you.
3. Claiming a profile
Any doctor can claim their profile, or register if they are not listed yet, by providing their ID document type and number. We use it only to confirm in ReTHUS (Colombia's Ministry of Health registry) that they are a healthcare professional; we do not ask for photos. The process is manual, done by a person on our team, and it usually takes 1 to 2 business days. We reserve the right to approve or reject claims at our discretion when verification is inconclusive.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false information, third-party photos without authorization, or offensive content.
- Do not use the directory for unauthorized commercial purposes (mass scraping, data resale).
- Patients must use the directory information solely to contact the doctor of their choice.
5. VIP plan
The free profile appears in the directory; the VIP plan, which is optional, includes featured placement, a services section and testimonials. Specific terms, pricing and cancellation are detailed at signup.
6. Limitation of liability
El mejor DOC is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, cost or outcome of medical services rendered by listed professionals. Any dispute between patient and doctor is resolved directly between them.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version with its date. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of changes.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Colombian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Medellín (Antioquia, Colombia).
