Dr. Paola Carolina Correa Albarracín

I am a professional nurse, graduated 5 years ago from the University of Santander (UDES), with 4 years of experience in family planning programs, breast exams, testicular exams, breastfeeding counseling, and growth and development for children under 5 years of age. My professional journey: In 2018, I was the head of an IPS located at UDES, where I provided family planning services, admission and control counseling, vital sign measurement, cytology collection and interpretation, HPV testing, vaccination, conducted induced demand campaigns, and provided education on breast and testicular exams. In 2019, I was the head of IPS Alianza Diagnóstica, where I offered family planning services and admission and control counseling. I performed insertion and removal of subdermal implants (Implanon, Sinoimplant, and Jadelle), interpreted cytology results, conducted psychoprophylactic courses, managed growth and development programs for children under 5, performed rapid HIV/SYPHILIS tests for pregnant women, and provided preconception consultations and exams. Currently, I work with ABBOTT laboratories, providing training to healthcare professionals on the insertion and removal of Sinoimplant subdermal implants. Additionally, I offer private counseling and consulting services.
