I am a registered dietitian, with a master's degree in biological sciences and a diabetes educator. I have 16 years of experience, during which I have worked in various areas of nutrition. For 7 years, I coordinated the diabetes patient program for insulin pump management at San Ignacio Hospital. I directed the nutrition department at La Colina Clinic and have worked with both adult and pediatric endocrinologists. I have been a speaker at several scientific events and have publications in journals and books. In 2013, I decided to start my own company, NUDO Nutrición y Bienestar (www.nudo.com.co); my main goal is to connect people with professionals, foods, and products focused on nutrition and well-being. Currently, I conduct private nutrition consultations at NUDO's office. My consultation includes an assessment of physical and anthropometric aspects such as weight, height, and muscle and fat percentage, an analysis of daily food intake, physical activity habits, sleep patterns, and any background factors that may affect nutritional status. Subsequently, I analyze the entire situation and, together with the patient, develop a personalized plan to help them achieve their goals.
