I am a Medical Psychiatrist and a Psychotherapist specializing in emotional trauma, mindfulness, gestalt, and third-generation therapies.

When I trained as a psychiatrist, I immediately decided that I was interested in the field of psychotherapies. While medications are useful and essential in some pathologies, addressing the complexities of human suffering with that single tool is very limited. Understanding how the mind works, the therapeutic relationship, and the importance of family, social, and work contexts are fundamental to my work.

I trained in emotional trauma therapy, gestalt therapy, third-generation therapies, and mindfulness-based meditation therapy (I lived for a year and a half in India, deepening my knowledge of meditation, breathing techniques, yoga, and Ayurveda).

Emotional trauma-focused therapy is perhaps what sparked my greatest curiosity and desire for deeper understanding, as it is a therapy that works at the root of the problem, at a deeper level, addressing the past, present, thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and the body.
