I completed my medical and surgical degree at Universidad El Bosque. I undertook a special rotation at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital Pain Center. My residency in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation was completed at Hospital Simón Bolivar, Universidad El Bosque. I completed my fellowship in Pain and Palliative Care at Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, Universidad El Bosque.
I am a member of the Colombian Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (SCARE) and the Cundinamarca Society. I am also a member of the World Institute of Pain (WIP), holding the FIPP 2020 certification as a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice, specializing in interventional pain procedures.
