Dra. Martha Cecilia Valbuena Mesa

I am a physician from Universidad del Rosario, and a dermatologist specializing from Universidad Javeriana, with training in the treatment of sun-related diseases at the University of Dundee - Scotland. My extensive professional experience in clinical dermatology is complemented by over two decades as a lecturer at the Federico Lleras Acosta Dermatological Center University Hospital, the highest national reference institution in dermatology. My teaching activities have allowed me to transmit my knowledge to several generations of students from Universidad Javeriana, Unisanitas, Rosario, among others. I am passionate about clinical research, through which I strive to find solutions for the complex diseases affecting my patients. Understanding the physical and emotional suffering caused by dermatological conditions, I focus on providing my patients with humanized care characterized by an exceptional doctor-patient relationship.
