The psychotherapeutic space offers an opportunity to build new possibilities for yourself, through collaborative work between the patient and me. My role is to listen and guide during the session. The cognitive-behavioral approach focuses on the patient's thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors.
During consultations, I listen to the patient and aim to establish a dialogue around their thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors expressed during the session. I also focus on identifying and implementing strategies to cope with various situations. To facilitate this, we engage in activities during the session to encourage greater openness and reinforce discussed topics.
