Dra. Marcela Echavarría Calderon

I am a physician and surgeon from CES University, specializing in Physical Activity and Sports Medicine.

As a Sports Medicine physician, I aim to promote health through physical activity and exercise. I support the training processes of elite and amateur athletes, and prescribe exercise for managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, among others. I also guide physical activity during pregnancy and lactation, contributing to the well-being of both mother and baby. Additionally, I conduct rehabilitation processes for musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

In 2019, I initiated a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program, based on the goals of hospitalized patients at Clínica las Vegas. To date, I work multidisciplinarily with various specialties within the clinic, striving to enhance patients' quality of life by improving their functional independence in daily activities.

I work with any patient who seeks physical activity as an alternative for their current condition, through exercise prescription tailored to functional and individual goals.
