I am a physician graduated from the University of Los Andes (Cum Laude), an Internist from Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá (Universidad El Bosque); and an Endocrinologist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Javeriano Academic Merit Order). I also hold a postgraduate degree in Clinical Epidemiology from Universidad El Bosque.
I have experience in the study, diagnosis, and management of various types of diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, nodules), polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperprolactinemia (high prolactin), elevated cholesterol or triglycerides, osteoporosis, obesity, and other hormonal imbalances that can occur in the body.
Currently, I work as an Internal Medicine Endocrinologist at Centro Hospitalario Serena del Mar, operated by Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, and at my private practice in Cartagena.
