I am an Ophthalmologist and Ocular Plastic Surgery Subspecialist (eyelid and lacrimal duct surgery) from the University of Los Andes, with subspecialty training at AVAO, University of Los Andes. I completed an oculoplastics observership at New England Eye Center - Tufts University, Boston, USA. I am a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. I serve as an oculoplastics instructor for the ophthalmology residency at Fundación Universitaria Sanitas. I have extensive medical-surgical experience in ophthalmology and oculoplastics, having evaluated over 13,000 patients and performed more than 1,000 surgical procedures. I offer specialized oculoplastics consultations for the treatment of eyelid, lacrimal duct, and conjunctiva diseases and surgeries. I also manage patients with dry eye. I provide non-surgical cosmetic treatments for periocular rejuvenation, including botulinum toxin (Botox) application, hyaluronic acid, and facial mesotherapy. All procedures are performed under high quality standards, utilizing advanced surgical equipment and well-equipped operating rooms in Bogotá.
