Dra. Beatriz Ballesteros Berbesí

I am a Surgeon and Internal Medicine Specialist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. I hold a Master's in Anticoagulant Treatment from S&H Medical Science - University of Murcia, Spain. I have over 15 years of experience in Emergency, Hospitalization, and Outpatient Consultation areas in Level IV complexity institutions. In 2019, I co-founded Coagularte with my colleague Dr. Santiago Sánchez. I have served as a Medical Semiology Professor at Javeriana University, and as a private and primary care physician for home-based patients and families for consecutive years. I was an outpatient internist at Sura, Bogotá. I am a lecturer for interdisciplinary groups on anticoagulation topics.

I am a creator and leader of comprehensive management projects for anticoagulated patients.

At COAGULARTE, we are a multidisciplinary team led by Internal Medicine and Anticoagulation Specialists. We have experience in Level III and IV complexity hospitals, research, teaching, and education for interdisciplinary groups, including patient associations.
