I am a Pediatrician, graduated from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. I specialize in newborn care and prenatal education. For this reason, I support parents from the beginning of pregnancy, educating them about potential risks for both the baby and the mother.
I also provide guidance on optimal nutrition to support the neurological development of the fetus during gestation.
During growth and development consultations, I adopt a holistic approach to patient care. I perform neuro-sensory stimulation for newborns up to 5 years of age, following the guidelines of the modified Denver II neurodevelopmental test. This includes evaluating anthropometric measurements, checking vaccinations, analyzing the child's nutritional status, and addressing potential emotional conflicts influenced by their family environment and how these impact the child's health.
