Dra. Ana Maria Carrillo Rosales

I am Ana María Carrillo Rosales, an adult psychiatrist and Perinatal Psychiatrist certified by the European Institute of Perinatal Mental Health.

I have experience with sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and in children, ADHD and disorders related to cognitive disability, among others. I am also an expert in fertility, motherhood, childbirth, postpartum, attachment, parenting, and fatherhood.

With an integral and ecosystemic approach, my work involves not only the patient but also their family, social, and in some cases, work environment. As a perinatal psychiatrist, I support, diagnose, and treat women, couples, and families from before conception, addressing fertility issues, assisted fertilization, perinatal loss or grief, providing professional advice to mothers, fathers, and extended family during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, and finally, supporting the early stages of attachment formation, breastfeeding, and parenting.

I offer Mindfulness-based therapy, individual, couple, or family cognitive-behavioral therapy. I also provide educational talks on mental health topics, personality, emotion management, interpersonal relationship management, among others.

I am a wife and mother to a baby, but above all, I am a human being sharing my professional vision with other human beings.
