Dra. Alexandra Mora Hernandez

I am Dr. Alexandra Mora Hernandez, a facial plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist, and the CEO of CosMedicals, a center for facial plastic surgery and rejuvenation in Bogota, Colombia. My practice specializes in rhinoplasty, facelifts, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, minimally invasive facial and neck rejuvenation, laser medicine, and cosmeceuticals.

My academic background includes a specialization in Otorhinolaryngology from Universidad del Rosario (1992), an M.D. in General Surgery from Universidad de Rosario (1986), and a specialization in Facial Plastic Surgery from Universidad CES (2016).

I have dedicated my career to patient-focused care, offering both surgical and non-surgical options to achieve natural-looking results with high quality standards. I have held leadership positions, including former president of the Colombian Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology (SCCPFR) and a current board member of the Colombian Association of Scientific Societies (ACSC). I also represent the University of California San Diego (UCSD) health system in Colombia and am an MD Partner for BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE. With over 26 years of experience, I serve as a specialist and consultant at Clínica del Country, known for my dedication to aesthetic innovation. I am also a professor and director of the "Minimally Invasive Advances in Facial Aesthetics" course at FUCS.

I have received several recognitions, including being named a "Prestige Doctor" by La Nota Económica magazine and receiving "TOP Doctors Awards" for my medical excellence. I have also been honored with "Leadership Awards" and "President Awards" from the Facial Academy of Colombia. My work has been featured in prominent publications, and I am recognized as a leading professional and manager in Colombia.

As Scientific Director of CosMedicals and COEAC, I also created the medical skincare line "CosMedicals Anti-Aging Formulas." I am a national and international speaker on facial plastic surgery, health, beauty, wellness, and rejuvenation. I am the author of the "Cosmeceutical Manual for Doctors," two novels, and the health and wellness book "Love Yourself." I also serve as an Associate Professor for the Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship Program at Universidad CES.

I am a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), the Colombian Association of Otorhinolaryngology (ACORL), the Colombian Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology (SCCPFR), and the Latin American Society of Facial Plastic Surgery (SLCPFR). I am passionate about helping my patients achieve their aesthetic goals.
