My name is Ricardo León Escobar Cuartas. I am a physician from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (Mexico) and an ophthalmologist from the University Clinic of Navarra (Pamplona - Spain). I have been practicing my profession in Pereira for over 25 years, and my goal has always been to provide my patients with high-quality service using advanced technology. For this reason, I constantly update my knowledge by attending conferences as a speaker and upgrading my equipment to ensure cutting-edge technology. I have developed surgical instruments and nomograms (spreadsheets) essential for surgery. I treat all types of patients; however, my expertise in ophthalmology lies in the anterior segment: cornea, refractive surgery (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism), presbyopia, keratoconus, pterygium, and cataracts.
