Dr. Pedro Ignacio Escarain

I am an Argentine physician based in Medellín since 2009. I graduated as a Surgeon from the Universidad Abierta Interamericana in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2003. I became a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology, certified by the Ministry of Health of the Argentine Republic, in 2007. I completed a Fellowship in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Knee Surgery, certified by the Latin American Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery Training (CLEMI) and the Latin American Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SLAOT), in 2009, Bogotá, Colombia. I have participated in numerous national and international courses and congresses. I have extensive experience in knee pathologies, offering both medical and surgical treatments using open and arthroscopic techniques. My experience also includes orthopedic trauma surgery, addressing fractures, dislocations, and ligamentous injuries of both upper and lower limbs.
