Dr. Meisser Alberto López Córdoba

My subspecialty in hand and upper limb surgery involves the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic, degenerative, congenital, and overuse conditions affecting the upper extremities: hand, shoulder, and elbow. These include common conditions such as tendinitis, nerve entrapments like carpal tunnel syndrome, elbow and shoulder pain, upper limb fractures, and joint conditions related to degenerative diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, among others. I also address congenital conditions. My training in this area allows me to offer patients various surgical technique options, including minimally invasive procedures like shoulder, elbow, and hand arthroscopy, when indicated. I am part of two working groups focused on Fibromyalgia and Osteoporosis conditions. Currently, I practice at Hospital Universitario San Vicente Fundacion, Clinica Alivium, and Clinica de Fracturas Antioquia. I am also a professor at the University of Antioquia.
