I am a Medical Geneticist from Universidad del Rosario, with a Master's in Genetic Epidemiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. I am also a genetic counselor in Hereditary Cancer from Universidad de Chile - Clínica las Condes.
I have over 6 years of experience caring for patients with suspected genetic conditions, both in childhood and adulthood.
I have extensive experience caring for pediatric patients with suspected genetic conditions such as Down syndrome, neurofibromatosis, muscular dystrophies, spinal muscular atrophy, cystic fibrosis, among others.
I have significant knowledge and interest in genetic counseling for adult patients with suspected hereditary cancer, preconception reproductive risk assessment (before pregnancy) for genetic conditions, genetic risk assessment during pregnancy, Huntington's disease, hereditary ataxias, and more.
