ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES I was recognized as an instructor at CES University in October 1993. I taught the first course on functional anatomy and engineering applications in human joints in October 2002.

CONTINUOUS EDUCATION My continuous education includes participation in numerous national and international congresses, courses, and symposia focused on orthopedic surgery, traumatology, arthroscopy, pain management, and musculoskeletal imaging. These include events organized by the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SCCOT), the Antioquia Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, AO International, and the Colombian Association for the Study of Pain (ACED), among others.

MEMBERSHIPS AND SOCIETIES I am an affiliated member of the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (SCCOT). I am a full member of the Latin American Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SLAOT).

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT I completed my integrated rural rotation at Hospital Santa Isabel de San Pedro, Antioquia E.S.E., from August 1, 1992, to July 31, 1993. I served as a staff physician at Clínica del CES from August 1993 to July 1997. I was an instructor in semiology at the CES Institute of Health Sciences from 1993 to 1994. I worked as a risk assessment physician at Suramericana de Seguros from 1994 to 1995. I was a physician at Emergencias Médicas Integradas EMI from 1996 to 1997. I have been an orthopedist at Clínica de Fracturas Medellín since 2001. I worked as an orthopedist at Clínica Las Vegas from 2001 to 2008. I served as an orthopedist at Salud Total from 2003 to 2009. I was the Medical Director at Clínica de Fracturas de Medellín from 2010 to 2012.
