Dr. Leonardo Ignacio Trujillo Bahamon

I completed my medical and orthopedic-traumatology studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. I was selected by the university's administration for a two-year specialization in reconstructive hip and knee surgery at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the University of Birmingham Alabama, and the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University of New York. Upon my return, I dedicated myself to sharing my knowledge as an instructor in reconstructive hip and knee surgery within the Orthopedics Department of P.U.J. As a pioneer in my country, I underwent specialized training in hip arthroscopy surgical techniques at Hospital Moinhos de Vento and Hospital Complex Santa Casa in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I am an active full member of highly recognized scientific societies in Colombia and worldwide, including the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery (Hip and Knee Surgery Chapter) and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy (I.S.H.A.).

I have been invited as a distinguished speaker to share my experience on numerous occasions. For over 20 years, I have maintained a private practice at the Asociación Médica de los Andes, providing my patients with high-quality care and advanced technology to improve the diagnosis and treatment of hip and knee conditions.
