Dr. Julian Felipe Zuluaga Villegas

I am a neurosurgeon from the University of Antioquia (Medellín – Colombia). I specialized in spine surgery, trained by AOSpine at the Roosevelt Children's Orthopedic Institute (Bogotá – Colombia) and the S.A.M.I.C. Prof. Dr. Juan P. Garrahan Pediatric Hospital (Buenos Aires – Argentina). These high-complexity centers emphasized the clinical and surgical management of spinal column and spinal cord diseases. My specialty focuses on the management and treatment of spinal deformities in children and adolescents (scoliosis, hyperkyphosis, kyphoscoliosis, spondylolisthesis), adult spinal deformity, spinal tumors, and cervical and lumbar pain and radiculopathy, often stemming from degenerative spinal disease. I have completed various national and international rotations and updates, and I have participated in multiple courses and congresses focused on spinal disease management. This, combined with my experience, forms the foundation of my professional practice, allowing me to offer my patients up-to-date knowledge and tools for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
