Dr. Juan Camilo Pedreros

I am a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

I am part of the cardiology staff at Fundación Clínica Shaio, Colombia's leading cardiovascular center.

I serve at Clínica de la Universidad de la Sabana as a clinical cardiologist and clinical professor.

At Clínica de Marly JCG Chía, I am an attending physician in the Cardiology department, providing services to both hospitalized and outpatient patients. I am also part of the non-invasive cardiology team for cardiovascular diagnostic studies. My private practice for outpatient care is located at this clinic. Currently, I am coordinating the establishment of the Heart Failure service for this institution.

In 2019, I was awarded a scholarship by the Colombian Society of Cardiology, which led to an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. There, I had the opportunity to collaborate academically and clinically with globally recognized cardiologists such as Dr. Jhoana Contreras, Dr. Umesh Gidwani, and Dr. Valentín Fuster.

I was a speaker at the American College of Cardiology Latin American Conference 2019, where I shared the stage with Dr. Roxana Mehran (a distinguished cardiologist and researcher) from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and Dr. Fernán Mendoza (current president of the Colombian Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery).

I am currently pursuing a Certification in Advanced Studies in Heart Failure with Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana Medellín.

I completed a Diploma in Lipid Expertise in 2020 at Universidad del Bosque.

I completed a Cardiovascular Disease Update in 2020 with the Colombian Society of Cardiology.
