I am Dr. Jorge Nempeque, a recognized physician dedicated to performing aesthetic and geriatric surgeries. I completed my undergraduate studies at the National University of Colombia, graduating in 1992, and my specialization in General Surgery in 2002. I obtained my degree in aesthetic plastic surgery from Universidade Veiga de Almeida in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Concurrently, I pursued additional studies related to bariatric surgery interventions.
I have had the opportunity to be part of the general surgery professional team at organizations such as Seguro Social at Clínica San Pedro Claver, which later became Hospital Universitario Mayor (commonly known as Mederi), EPS Salud Coop., Café Salud, Hospital Simón Bolívar, among others. I was a professor of general surgery at Universidad del Rosario and Universidad del Bosque. I am also affiliated with the following scientific societies: Colombian Association of Surgery and Colombian Association of Obesity and Bariatric Surgery.
Currently, I conduct my private medical practice in aesthetic and bariatric surgery.
