I am Jorge Mario Montoya Muñoz, a sleep expert.

My patients are individuals experiencing any sleep-related issue. With them, I develop a therapeutic treatment to achieve the goals set from the first consultation. Based on active listening, physical examination, and the application of various questionnaires to understand their pathology, I create a therapeutic plan and determine if diagnostic aids or multidisciplinary support are required.

I am a university lecturer and a general practitioner with extensive experience in clinical management, from pre-hospital care to supporting patients with complex needs.

Currently, I work in outpatient care, consulting patients with sleep disorders.

My mission is to provide an elevated level of care, offering my patients valuable education, pharmacological, and non-pharmacological therapeutic aids that help them enjoy their hours of sleep for a pleasant awakening.

What is the consultation like? During a scheduled consultation, we will complete a questionnaire and a physical assessment in an organized and methodical way to deeply understand if you have any prior illnesses, physical alterations, or health disorders that contribute to your sleep problem. Additionally, we utilize various questionnaires and a sleep diary completed by each patient, allowing us to evaluate 'how you sleep' night by night in detail. This enables a comprehensive approach to propose the most suitable therapeutic option, with or without medication, for each individual. My main objective is to enhance the quantity, quality, and satisfaction of your sleep, which will reflect positively in your daily life and overall quality of life.
