I am a Fellow and Member of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE). I was awarded the EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR for the Americas region by IACLE. I serve as a professor for undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Universidad de La Salle, Bogotá. I am also a postgraduate professor at Universidad Santo Tomas, Bucaramanga. I work as an advisor and speaker for the Contact Lens and pharmaceutical industries. I am the author of the book "Toric Contact Lenses" and other book chapters. I serve as an academic peer for the National Accreditation Council (CNA) and the National Intersectoral Commission for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (CONACES) under the Ministry of National Education.
