I am a Psychiatrist, graduated from Universidad el Bosque (Bogotá, Colombia), with a Fellowship in Neuropsychiatry (University of Illinois). In my consultations and treatments, I adopt an integral Biopsychosocial approach, considering biological/medical, psychological, family, and environmental aspects in the diagnosis and treatment of various presenting concerns. I collaborate with two other professionals in Psychology and Coaching.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS 1. Scholarship for Excellence. October 2000. Awarded by the Colombian Association of Psychiatry and PFIZER laboratories, to the best final-year resident in the country. The award was a full scholarship to attend the University of Illinois. 2. Henry García Award. June 2001. Awarded by the Colombian Institute of the Nervous System - Clínica Montserrat, for the best research paper by final-year residents. 3. “Recognition for outstanding academic and leadership work as President of the Association during the 2012 – 2014 period.
