Dr. John Jairo Marín Cortés

I am a creative and sensitive individual with a strong social commitment, interested in the study of the psyche and its neurobiology, culture, and human behavior. I dedicate part of my life to studying and applying effective therapeutic treatments that bring significant relief and well-being to patients and their families.

I trained as a specialist physician in psychiatry at Maimónides University in Buenos Aires; as a specialist in health economics at CES; as a general practitioner at Fundación Universitaria San Martín; and as a pharmaceutical chemist at the University of Antioquia.

I have complemented my training with specific studies in pediatric psychiatry, dual pathology, psychosomatic illnesses, stress and trauma, and D. Kalf's sandplay psychoanalytic technique. These studies have allowed me to adopt therapeutic approaches that combine modern and contemporary psychiatric principles, utilizing medication when necessary.
