Dr. James Dario Madrid Jaramillo

I consider myself an approachable, warm, and compassionate person, with great love and passion for what I do. I dedicate all my knowledge to each patient to meet their expectations and always ensure satisfaction at the end of the consultation. I trained as a physician at the University of Antioquia and completed my medical residency in sports medicine at Universidad el Bosque. I have 18 years of experience as a physician, with 10 years in general medicine and 8 years in sports medicine. In sports medicine, I work in both clinical and high-performance sports environments. In the clinical setting, I have led cardiovascular risk programs at Sura ARL, obesity programs at Sumimedical IPS, joint preservation programs at Coomeva Medicina Prepagada, exercise prescription for patients with chronic non-communicable diseases at Body Tech IPS, and patient evaluations for EMI specialists. In sports, I have participated in processes with the Valle del Cauca high-performance center in 2017, Team Medellín for the Antioquia departmental games in 2019, Bogotá for the Cartagena national games in 2019, and currently with the Ministry of Sports for the 'Talentos Colombia' program. During my training, I completed internships with the Atlético Nacional sports club, and I am currently the medical leader for the Soccer City sports club.
