Dr. Jaime Alberto Gomez Ayala

I am a surgeon graduated from the Industrial University of Santander, a specialist in Health Services Administration, and a specialist in Internal Medicine, also from UIS. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in E-learning at the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga in agreement with the Open University of Catalonia in Spain. I have extensive professional experience, working as an internist in healthcare institutions with significant regional, national, and international recognition, and as a professor in the UNAB Medicine program for almost 10 years. I am a founding partner of Fundación Clínica, the institution where I currently work.

I also have an extensive history as a guild leader since the beginning of my university life, where I was a student representative to the school council, faculty council, then chief resident of internal medicine, later postgraduate representative, and an active member of ACMI –Santander Chapter–, serving on the Board of Directors, and currently as Chapter President for the second consecutive term.
