Dr. Gustavo Tovar Mojica

I am a medical specialist in sports medicine, with studies in osteopathic manual medicine. I am also a lecturer and researcher at the University of Rosario in Bogotá, focusing on physical activity, exercise, health, and healthy habits. I approach my patients' illnesses or ailments holistically, addressing accompanying factors to achieve a balance of mind, body, and spirit, leading to improved management of their condition. I specialize in musculoskeletal pain of any origin (back, neck, lumbar, limbs), comprehensive management and prevention of sports injuries (recreational or professional), and structuring healthy lifestyle habits for weight management and risk factor reduction to help prevent chronic diseases. Additionally, I guide patients in managing their chronic conditions (heart disease, diabetes, COPD, among others), helping them understand their illness, learn about it, and thus better cope with and address it. I collaborate with other medical and health professionals, as well as rehabilitation, exercise, and sports specialists, always aiming to optimize my patients' health, quality of life, and athletic performance.
