I am a Surgeon from the National University of Colombia, and a Gynecologist graduated from the FUCS University Health Sciences Foundation - San José Hospital. I hold a subspecialty in Colposcopy and Lower Genital Tract Pathology from FUCS - INC. With 15 years of experience, I focus on the timely diagnosis and management of precancerous cervical lesions associated with human papillomavirus (HPV). I am also a Postgraduate University Professor at Universidad del Rosario and Fundación Universitaria Sanitas.

My goal is to provide clear, objective advice regarding HPV, to diagnose early-stage lesions promptly, and to treat them effectively to help prevent cervical cancer, as most of these lesions are manageable. I aim to dispel the idea that HPV automatically means malignancy. Colposcopy is a straightforward in-office examination, similar to a Pap test, and is not painful. With timely and accurate diagnosis, I can support you through this process, help preserve fertility in young patients, and address potential malignant lesions through outpatient procedures.

Beyond treating cervical lesions, I also focus on managing vaginal and vulvar conditions such as chronic itching, genital warts, and other lesions like spots, moles, or any abnormalities in your genital area. This includes guidance on genital hygiene and treatment for chronic, recurrent, and bothersome vaginal discharge.
