I have been a Clinical Dentist since 1987, specializing in Dental Aesthetics and Biomaterials. I am the founder and former director of the Colciencias research group in Biomaterials and Dental Aesthetics (BEO), Category A1. I have served as a university professor for undergraduate and postgraduate programs at multiple Colombian universities, and I am the creator and former director of the postgraduate program in Dental Aesthetics at Universidad Santiago de Cali. I am also an international lecturer in Biomaterials and Dental Aesthetics. My training and advanced studies include institutions in the United States (University of Minnesota), Germany, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
