Dr. Gabriel Jaime Cano Restrepo

I am a physician and pediatrician, a graduate of the University of Antioquia (1974 and 1984, respectively). I have teaching experience in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology at the University of Antioquia and CES University.

In my practice, the child is the most important person. I interact with them at their level, giving them the attention they deserve. I believe the pediatrician's primary role is to advise, guide, and support the comprehensive growth and development of children and adolescents, always in collaboration with parents and caregivers.

My philosophy is that 'we treat individuals, not just diseases.' Most conditions we call diseases are imbalances in our physical, mental, emotional, and environmental harmony. I always aim to find the origin of these imbalances, rather than merely masking symptoms with medications that may not be necessary and could even cause further toxicity.
