I am a head and neck surgeon in Bogotá. I trained as a physician at Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud (FUCS) and specialized in General Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery at FUCS, Hospital de San José, and Sociedad de Cirugía de Bogotá.

I completed training in robotic head and neck surgery at the Albert Einstein Israelite Faculty of Health Sciences in São Paulo, Brazil; international training in head and neck surgery at IFHNOS in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and training in laryngeal laser microsurgery in San Sebastián, Spain.

I treat conditions of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, the salivary glands, and benign and malignant tumors of the mouth, larynx, and the skin of the head and neck. Depending on each case, treatment may include open surgery, transoral surgery without a visible scar on the neck, radiofrequency ablation, sialendoscopy, laser microsurgery, or robotic surgery.

I am one of five surgeons in Colombia who perform robotic head and neck surgery. I operate at Clínica del Country, Clínica La Colina, Fundación CTIC, Clínica Reina Sofía, Clínica Marly, and Clínica Azul.

I see patients at Colina Office Park (Cra. 67 #167-61, office 510-1) on Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and at the Research Building of Fundación CTIC (Carrera 14 #169-49, office 423) on Wednesdays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in Bogotá, with private-pay patients and those with Colsanitas, Sura (policy), MedPlus, Colmédica, Coomeva, Famisanar plan complementario, Seguros Bolívar, and Allianz.
