I am an Orthopedic Surgeon and Traumatologist, with a subspecialty in Knee Surgery and Advanced Hip and Pelvis Trauma from Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá. I completed an AO Fellowship in knee trauma at Hospital Das Clínicas Ribeirão Preto in São Paulo, Brazil, and an Observational Fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Missouri.
I have experience in the study, diagnosis, and treatment of general trauma, sports injuries, acute and chronic knee injuries, including cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and knee replacement. I also treat fracture complications, highly complex fractures, and hip fractures and other fractures in older adults.
Currently, I work as an Orthopedic and Knee Surgeon in my private practice and at Centro Hospitalario Serena del Mar in Cartagena.
