Dr. Cristobal Tomas Buitrago Gutierrez

I am Dr. Cristóbal Buitrago Gutiérrez, a distinguished Nephrologist with over 35 years of experience in various prestigious institutions.

I graduated in General Medicine from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, then specialized in Internal Medicine at the same institution, and completed my specialization in Nephrology at Universidad del Rosario. Additionally, I hold specializations in Bioethics from Universidad del Bosque and Medical Health Law from Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario. I completed an extension course in Alternative Medicine and a Neural Therapy course at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I am a member of the International Medical Association of Neural Therapy (Huneke method) and the Colombian Society of Alternative Medicine, Homeopathy, and Homeosimetry (SCOMEDIHH).

I regularly attend numerous courses and conferences.

I have served as a Medical Specialist in various medical institutions, including: President of the Anemia Working Group, President of the Colombian Association of Nephrology, Medical Director of the National Kidney Institute, Head of Nephrology and Dialysis Services at Clínica Fundadores, Head of Nephrology, Dialysis, and Transplant Services at Hospital De La Policía Nacional Bogotá, and Head of Nephrology Services at Hospital San Rafael Bogotá and Hospital de la Samaritana.

I am a member of the Colombian Association of Nephrology, where I previously served as President and currently hold the position of medical prosecutor. I am also a member of the Colombian Society of Internal Medicine, the Colombian Society of Homeopathy and Homeosimetry (SCOMEDIHH) and its board of directors, and the International Medical Association of Neural Therapy (Huneke method).
