I am a Surgeon (2003) and Urological Surgeon (2009) from the National University of Colombia.

I have received academic and ethical training to perform at the highest professional standards in all national healthcare institutions.

With over 15 years in medicine (11 specifically in Urology), I have demonstrated myself as an autonomous, capable, creative, and ethically grounded professional. I approach surgical pathology with scientific rigor and a humanistic perspective. I am committed to social responsibility, successfully practicing in both private and institutional settings. I possess the knowledge and skills for excellent outpatient and hospital care, managing primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention comprehensively. I have strong diagnostic abilities for urinary tract conditions, along with research, administrative, and teaching capabilities, and I embrace changes within my specialty.

I specialize in endourology for urinary tract stones, skillfully performing both retrograde and antegrade endoscopic (minimally invasive) techniques. I am one of the few urologists in the city proficient in flexible endoscopic laser surgery and percutaneous nephrolithotomy.

I am also trained in managing overactive bladder and urinary incontinence. My approach ranges from conservative therapies to oral medications, intravesical Botox injections, and sacral neuromodulation with Interstim-II implantation.

As a Urologist, I treat common conditions affecting children (urinary tract infections, phimosis, undescended testicle), adolescents (varicocele, hydrocele, epididymal cysts, orchialgia), adults (prostatic hyperplasia, localized genitourinary tumors, stones, sexually transmitted infections, vasectomy for family planning), and seniors (urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, etc.).
