I have dedicated over 36 years to the study and specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, completing my training at the Juan N Corpas School of Medicine in Bogotá, Colombia. Throughout my academic career, I have earned distinctions including monitor, instructor, dissector, and tenured professor by competitive examination in Anatomy and Plastic Surgery. I served as a tenured professor by competitive examination in Anatomy and Plastic Surgery at the Juan N Corpas School of Medicine. I directed the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery program at El Bosque University. I was a professor for the Aesthetics Chapter of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery. I previously held roles as prosecutor, treasurer, and executive secretary for the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery. I coordinated the communication and press office for the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery. I was Head of the Non-Cardiovascular Surgery Department at Clínica Shaio. I served as former National Director and National Deputy Director of Operation Smile Colombia. I am a volunteer surgeon for Operation Smile and Operation Sonrisa Colombia. I was the former Vice President of the Colombian Society of Burns. I am a professor of Endoscopic Facial Surgery.
