Dr. Carlos Gustavo Trujillo Ordóñez

I am a physician and urologist, graduated from Javeriana University in 2005. After completing my training, I traveled to Venezuela where I completed an 8-month postgraduate course in Urological Laparoscopy. Upon my return, I joined Hospital Santa Clara, Hospital Universitario Clínica San Rafael, Dispensario Médico Gilberto Echeverry Mejía, and Colsubsidio. I worked at these institutions until 2008 when I joined Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, where I have practiced ever since. Concerned with helping underserved populations, for 3 years I assisted at Hospital San Francisco de Gachetá (Cundinamarca), where I performed over 100 medium-complexity surgical procedures, helping patients avoid traveling to Bogotá for their treatment. At the Colombian Society of Urology, I have served as Director of Informatics, Editor and Director of the Colombian Urology Journal from 2011-2013, and currently as Director of the Teaching Section. I am a professor at Javeriana University, Universidad del Rosario, and Universidad de los Andes, where I am also a member of the Curricular Committee.
