Dr. Carlos Enrique Amador Preciado

I graduated with a Doctor of Dentistry degree from the National University of Colombia and completed my specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Central Military Hospital in Bogotá. Following my residency, I led the postgraduate program for 14 years and served as Head of the Outpatient and Emergency Division at the hospital. I have mentored over forty-five specialists and am recognized internationally for my expertise. I frequently lecture on advanced oral and maxillofacial treatments, including facial trauma, reconstructive surgery, tumor resection, correction of dental and jaw anomalies, temporomandibular joint disorders, and dental implant rehabilitation. My extensive speaking engagements have taken me across the Americas. I have proudly served as President of both the Colombian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Latin American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ALACIBU) for two terms each. My continuous teaching career spans undergraduate and postgraduate programs at several prestigious universities, and I have contributed to numerous scientific publications and research in jaw bone regeneration. My professional distinctions include the Professional Merit in Health Medal, the Humanitarian Award from the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and recognition as Professor Emeritus. With over 35 years of clinical practice, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care and am affiliated with Clínica Reina Sofía in Bogotá.
