I have performed over 4800 surgeries in Colombia and across much of the American continent. . I train new bariatric and metabolic surgery groups. . I am a Professor of General Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, and Bariatric Surgery at two of the country's leading medical faculties: the University of Antioquia and El Bosque University. . I founded and coordinated the bariatric and metabolic surgery groups at La Clinica Las Vegas and HPTU for over 10 years. . I currently head the Bariatric Surgery services at Clinica SOMA and Medellin de la 80 at ESIMED.
