I am a pediatrician from Universidad del Valle, with over 8 years of experience managing patients in outpatient consultations, hospitalization, and intensive care. I specialized in Pediatric Rheumatology at Universidad El Bosque and completed an international rotation at Hospital San Joan de Déu in Barcelona. Currently, I work in neonatal and pediatric intensive care services in Cali and provide Pediatric Rheumatology consultations in the same city. I participated in the development of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis guidelines for the Ministry of Social Protection in 2014. With several colleagues from Bogotá and Cali, I conducted research studies presented at national and international Pediatric Rheumatology congresses. As a specialist, I collaborate with other local physicians to address complex pathologies requiring intervention from multiple specialties (pediatric infectious disease specialists, hematology-oncologists, pediatric neurologists, pediatric endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, among others).
