Dr. Andrés Rodríguez Ramírez

I am Andrés, a physician and surgeon from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and a pediatric orthopedist with 20 years of experience. I trained at Instituto Roosevelt and the Alfred I duPont Institute, Delaware - USA, with specialized focus on Cerebral Palsy, clubfoot (talipes equinovarus), flatfoot, hip dysplasia, and pediatric trauma, among other conditions. My patients have 24-hour phone access to me. My practice is supported by patient safety processes, thanks to my training at Qualyhealth, ensuring the implementation of leading practices and established safety protocols to reduce the risks associated with medical and surgical care.

I am available for pediatric trauma care 24 hours a day at Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá.

As the Medical Director of Instituto Roosevelt, a university hospital, I maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in pediatric orthopedics. I also serve as a professor at several universities in the country, teaching pediatric orthopedics.

I have conducted research in pediatric orthopedics, resulting in national and international indexed publications, and have been invited as a speaker in Colombia and Central America.
