Dr. Andrés Rivera

I am a psychosocial and clinical psychologist from the University of Los Andes with a Master's in clinical psychology from the University of del Norte. I have worked within the framework of neuropsychology in assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation. I have experience with vulnerable populations, psychiatric patients, ICBF (Colombian Family Welfare Institute), individuals disengaged from armed conflict, incarcerated individuals, and those with addictions, among others. In private practice, I have provided individual, couples, family, and group support. I have trained in various therapeutic perspectives and use humanism, Logotherapy, meaning-centered psychotherapy, and existential analysis as the foundation and point of articulation for different support and intervention tools. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Literature, and have studied Philosophy and Journalism. I practice meditation and have been trained in Reiki therapy.
