Dr. Alvaro Iván Narváez Gómez

I graduated as a Pediatrician from the University of Cauca in Popayán, Colombia, in 1994. I have extensive experience in managing the health of children and adolescents. I am a professor for the Medicine program and the Pediatric Specialization at the University of Cauca, and a former head of the Department of Pediatrics at the same university. Since 2016, I have been the Coordinator of the Pediatric Postgraduate program. I have numerous publications in medical-scientific journals. I recently applied for and obtained voluntary recertification in Pediatrics for the 2019-2023 period, awarded by the Colombian Society of Pediatrics.
