Dr. Álvaro Delgado Beltrán

I completed my medical studies at the National University of Colombia, where I earned my degree as a Physician and Surgeon. Subsequently, I specialized in General Surgery at the Universidad del Bosque, concluding my training in Vascular Surgery at the University of Sao Paulo and the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinhas, in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Upon my return, I specialized in Vascular Surgery and Angiology at the Nueva Granada Military University, and in 2011, I trained in Endovascular Surgery at the University of Valladolid, Spain. I am an active member of the Colombian Association of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, where I served on the Board of Directors for the past 8 years. I was also a founding President of the central regional chapter of this association. Since 2009, I have been a member of the Colombian chapter of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the world's leading society in Vascular Surgery, and currently serve as the Medical Prosecutor for this chapter. I have presented at numerous national and international conferences on Vascular Surgery and have published many articles in national and international journals. Additionally, I am the author of chapters in vascular surgery textbooks. I have over 10 years of experience as a vascular surgeon. Throughout this time, I have been characterized by my responsibility and competence, serving my patients with warmth, understanding the feelings generated by their conditions, and supporting them with perseverance and simplicity during their treatment.
