Dr. Alberto Arango Rivadeneira

I am a General Surgeon with a subspecialty in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery. I have 31 years of surgical experience utilizing minimally invasive techniques for gastrointestinal surgery, abdominal wall hernias, inguinal hernias, and abdominal tumors. I possess extensive experience in esophageal hiatus management and am an expert in Obesity Surgery and the surgical management of Diabetes, having helped hundreds of diabetic patients improve their condition.

My international training includes courses in the United States, Mexico, Germany, and most recently in Valladolid, Spain, at a Center of Excellence for Obesity and Diabetes management, under the guidance of Dr. Miguel Ángel Carbajo Caballero.
