Hello! It's a pleasure to have you here. My name is Alain Sánchez. I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, where I grew up and completed my medical degree.

After working as a general practitioner in eastern Colombia for some time, I decided to emigrate and seek new horizons. That's how I arrived in Argentina. I am eternally grateful to that country, as it offered me more than I could have imagined. There, I specialized in Pediatrics and then sub-specialized in Pediatric Pulmonology, both at the prestigious University of Buenos Aires.

I returned to my country a few years ago with the hope of offering my services to families and children here. Thanks to technology and the internet, I can now reach many more places than I ever imagined.

What is a Pediatric Pulmonologist? A Pediatric Pulmonologist is a physician who first specializes in Pediatrics and then completes a second specialization in Pulmonology (diseases and conditions of the respiratory system).

Therefore, I am qualified to provide care to children and their families in all aspects of general pediatrics, and with greater expertise in respiratory diseases of allergic origin such as asthma and rhinitis, genetic diseases like cystic fibrosis and ciliary dyskinesia, and infectious diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and frequent viral infections.
